The Heartbeat of Houston

Let's Work, Let's Play, Let's Live Together!

Houston Metropolitan is one of 38 chapters in the Sensational South Central Region of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. Our membership is comprised of accomplished and hardworking mothers from the highly diverse and expansive area within the 88-mile ‘loop’ boundary of Houston, Texas–the 4th largest city in the United States. Our moms reside in areas such as River Oaks, Bellaire, West University, Montrose, Tanglewood, Memorial, Oak Forest/Garden Oaks, Lazybrook/Timbergrove, Greater Heights, Third Ward, Meyerland, Spring Branch, Downtown, and Midtown. We are truly aligned in our goals and proud to bring meaningful, innovative programming and service to Houston.

The objectives of Jack and Jill:

  • To create a medium of contact for children which will stimulate growth and development.
  • To provide children a constructive educational, cultural, health, recreational and social program.
  • To aid mothers in learning more about their children by careful study.
  • To seek for all children the same advantages which we desire for our own.
  • To support all national legislation aimed at bettering the conditions of all children.
